About Us

Hovda Video Services, located in Rockford, Illinois, is owned and operated by Gary Hovda.  He has loved taking pictures since he was a child and has developed this love into a full-time career.  His wife, Ruby, is the secretary and CEO of this company as the studio is in their home. 

They will invite you for a free preview and will have time to discuss your questions and concerns.  Together they will set your mind at ease that your project will be completed with the greatest care and concern for your needs.

Gary has been a professional videographer since 1982.  He uses the latest cameras and equipment and takes great pride in his work.

He is a Certified Legal Video Specialist and videos depositions and other legal matters.   He also videos weddings and events.  Editing is done digitally and the finished product is available on either DVD or VHS.
